Course Description:
This qualification is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, positive attitude and work values of the learner in accordance with the prevailing standards in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. This encompasses competencies required of a Technical–Vocational Trainer to perform the tasks in the areas of instructional delivery/ facilitation, competency assessment, and maintenance of training resources / facilities. A trainee who passes the Assessment will receive a National Certificate from TESDA which deems him/her qualified to work as Trainer and Assessor for TVET/TVI Institution. Also qualified to apply for the National TVET Trainer Certificate and apply to TESDA to become an Assessor. Trainees or students wishing to gain entry into these qualifications must satisfy the following requirements -- :
Students enrolled in Trainers Methodology level 1 course are required to undergo a National Assessment before graduation. A TESDA National Certificate will be issued to students who passed this assessment.

CURRICULUM DESIGN Course Title: Course on Trainers Methodology level 1 Nominal Training Duration: 128 hrs. ( Basic Competencies) 136 hrs. ( Core Competencies) Course Description: This qualification is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, positive attitude and work values of the learner in accordance with the prevailing standards in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. This encompasses competencies required of a Technical–Vocational Trainer to perform the tasks in the areas of instructional delivery/ facilitation, competency assessment, and maintenance of training resources / facilities. |
